Carreño gave a concert in Salem at Lyceum Hall, which was a repeat of her recital given in Boston on Jan. 13, 1863. She performed works by Mendelssohn, Thalberg, Chopin, Goria, Döhler, and Herz. Tickets cost $0.50.

Carreño appeared in Salem, MA with Matilda Phillipps who performed on the same program as Carreño in several Boston concerts.

Carreño was invited to give a recital at the Perkins Institution for the Blind in Boston, MA. She performed several works, including Variations on "Home, Sweet Home" (Sigismond Thalberg).
