Jordan Hall (March 18, 1908)


Carreño appeared at Jordan Hall at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She performed Sonata, op. 53 (Waldstein) (Beethoven, Ludwig van), Two Preludes, op. 23 [i.e., 28], nos. 21 and 22, Nocturne, op. 48, Tarantelle, Barcarolle (Chopin, Fryderyk), Symphonie Studies (Schumann, Robert), Rhapsodie in B Minor (Brahms, Johannes), Am Seegestade (Smetana, Bedřich), and Concert Study in F-sharp Major (MacDowell, Edward). Carreño performed on an Everett piano. Tickets were priced as follows: $1.50, $1, and $0.75. The concert began at 3 pm.
