Description

Carreño performed a Concert Spirituel sponsored by the Société Académique de Musique Sacrée at the Champs-Élysées, Salle du Cirque de l’Impératrice in Paris, France. She performed Ave Maria (Gounod, Charles) with orchestra, organ, and piano; and a Caprice symphonique (Mendelssohn, Felix) with accompaniment by orchestra. Additional artists included Ch. Vervoitte (conductor), Camille Saint-Saëns (organ), Boissiere (organ), Mlle. Nilsson (voice), M. Faure (voice), and MM. Sighicelli. The concert began at 8:30 pm.
