Description

Carreño was scheduled to appear in a final concert at His Majesty's Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa, however due to repairs of the building her concert took place at Wanderers' Hall. She performed Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven, Ludwig van), Etudes Symphoniques (Schumann, Robert), Fantasia in C minor (Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus), Hungarian Fantasia (Liszt, Franz) the second piano performed by Benno Scherek, Minuetto (Boccherini-Dulcken), Staccato Caprice (Vogrich, Max), and Tremolo (Gottschalk, Louis Moreau). She gave several encores.

Tickets priced at 10s and 7s 6d for reserved seats and 4s and 2s for unreserved seats. The concert took place at 8:45 PM.
