Description

Carreño appeared at the Theatre Royal in Christchurch, New Zealand. She performed Sonata, op. 31, no. 3 (Beethoven, Ludwig van), Three Studies (Chopin, Fryderyk), Melody in F (Rubinstein, Anton), Erlkönig (Schubert, Franz (arr. Liszt)), Concert-Stück, op. 79, with orchestral accompaniment on second piano (Weber, Carl Maria von), Kleiner Walzer (Carreño, Teresa), and Rhapsodie hongroise no. 6 (Liszt, Franz). Benno Scherek provided orchestral accompaniment on a second piano. Carreño performed on a Bechstein piano. The concert began at 8:15 pm.
